I popped to the range lunchtime to loosen the back with a couple of buckets of balls and one of the guys there was hitting his new Mizzy JPX850 irons and offered me a whack with them

They were bloomin gorgeous and I was nailing them, even the low irons but, no. I'm not gonna be tempted !

A couple of days ago I hit the New Mizzy driver but was sadly very disappointed with it

Tempted as I am I'm staying with the Callaways, are any new shineys tempting you at the moment?

For some reason, the Mizuno MP H5's are really calling me at the moment. I've managed to avoid having a smack with them up to now, but I suspect my willpower will suffer after Christmas.

Nothing at the moment... I could play some Mizuno MP 54 and a full set of Titleist 915s but I can also handle not doing so....

Only 2 sets of irons that I've loving atm. MM proto's (Not vapours) or the new srixon Blade. Avoiding pricing up the srixons and thankfully the MM protos are silly money.

Now don't be silly Chris. You were only telling me a couple of weeks ago how good your Callaways were and how they had transformed your game.
A £3,000.00 set of irons would not have had you hitting a better 4 iron to Blackmoors 15th would it?

That Rob, is exactly why I am not tempted!

I'm itching for a driver test with the new models being released soon.

Titleist, Nike, TM and Mizuno would all be on the hit list.
By the time they're released (apart from the 915 out now) I might have calmed down a bit.

Those MM protos..are they the seriously limited edition ones, previously only available on tour?

Took the letters right off my keyboard. :)

Tried the 915 D3 again today. Just couldnt get on with it :(. On the other hand, the fairway wood is still a work of art. Waiting for the Nike Vapor offerings to compare before going pulling the card out...

Had a hit with the Taylormade SLDR irons and RSi2 irons. Both very nice, but while I would slightly prefer the RSi2's, the SLDR's are much, much cheaper. Shame TM don't introduce new irons quicker, and the price of the RSi2's might come down.

The RSI models and the ap range have taken my eye. If I ever get down to 20 then a custom fitted day is the prize.

its a big IF mind...

It's only money Rich .......... and you can't take it with you!

Good way to keep the mp4s nice. Use the mp32s in practice and range sessions.

Was browsing round AG yesterday, just looking for some winter bargains (alas none to be had).

Then I came across a nice set of AP2's, they do look rather nice, I'm so tempted to give them a hit, but my Mizzies are playing really well, and I don't want to upset them.

Never hurts to give them a little reminder that they could be replaced.;)
