Nike str8 fit drivers.

hi everyone, newbie here. I recently upgraded from my nike sumo 5900 driver to the nike machspeed str8 fit driver. I only took it to the range a couple of times and on the 2nd time after a couple of hits the driver head of the machspeed was halfway down the range! The shaft snapped right where the str8 fit is connected to the head. Funny thing is my friends nike dymo str8 fit driver broke at the same place during the 2nd hole of a round of golf (he was not impressed). Just wanting to see if there are anyone out there who has experienced this sorta thing with str8 fit drivers??

Not had a problem with mine, used it for about 15 or so rounds now and quite a few range sessions. Seems you may have both had faulty kit?

My mate broke his there after shutting it in his boot. Not sure you can blame that on the club though.

His was a VR Stright fit which just last week was sent back after the sole plate detached itself from the rest of the club.

I use the tour VR driver and it is a great club. Not had any problems to date.

I've got a feeling Murph had an issue with his - can't find the post but it rings a bell...

The head did fall off mine, but not due to breakage. The hozel pulled out of the head after a years use. Send it back, and got a new one.
Currently got a VR STR8 and have had no issues yet.

No issues with mine, even caught it on a range pillar (foam padded) and no damage
