Nightmare round

Well... Having just joined a club, I decided I needed to get my three cards in to gain my handicap. I've been working hard through winter, having started up in October, and got to the point where I've consistently been in the mid to late 90s.

Anyway, today I finally had chance to go out with an existing member and played like a complete numpty for the first three holes - 10, 11, 9. No idea what happened or what went wrong, but managed to half pull it together, still finishing with a ridiculous 119.

Gutted.

Getting at least one more card in tomorrow, hopefully two if there are any members around in the afternoon!

Okay.......mid to late 90s. Question......how long have you been playing, how often do you play, practice. When in normal play do you hole everything out, what tees have you been playing off.

If you want to put in cards that are lower then start marking cards even when it's a bounce game, so challenge yourself more. Late 90s mean a little nerves can take that up and it looks like it has. If you've not been playing long and you want a lower HC then keep playing until your more happy with your game.

My advice would be DONT go and do 2 cards on the SAME DAY.Spread it out.
