Nice little surprise

Me and a mate played in a Gents 4BBB Open at Teesside Golf Club a couple of weeks ago, was 3/4 h'cap and we finished with 43 points. We were early starters, 09:30, and were lying in 2nd place when we finished so although was quite pleased with our round didnt think that we would finish in the prizes.

Anyway, out of curiousity I checked the club's website for the results yesterday and 1st place was 44 pts, 2nd 44pts also, then there was 4 groups tied on 43 pts....fortunately due to our 23 pts on the back 9 we sneaked in for 3rd .

Just need to work out what to spend it on now

If only my birdie putt on the 18th hadnt of lipped out

Always a nice bonus, our club comps have no money prizes, but our swindle is proving quite lucrative this season, i think ive had 4 or 5 nearest the pins @ £15 each, and one swindle win at £40.00
