Always get excited this time of year, just got an email to pick my rookies (from the 2014 draft) and keepers for the coming season in one of the leagues I'm in.
Bring it on :whoo:

PS. any tips on the rookies? ;)

Just got my copy of lindys pro football which means the season will soon be here, tickets for all wembley games sorted too ;-)

Love the game but can't devote the time and effort required to keep up with it all. Soooooooo complicated too, well that's how the USA fans call it. One play last season required the Dolphins to gain a few yards to keep it alive. JUST PUT THE BIGGEST FATTEST MEANEST PLAYERS IN to stop the opposition. Simples. Did they? Nooooooooo. Over complicate everything IMO. Anyhoo, I've got tickets to the Dolphins game in London. It's gonna be a bit different than watching them in glorious November sunshine in Miami.
LETS GO DOLPHINS !!!!!

I quite like grid iron but can someone explain why the NFL is coming to England to play matches? Clearly its ££ or $$ corporate driven but they'd sell the same match out back in the USA. Are the teams playing here not hacking off their own US based fans who're missing games because they're over here playing?

partly due to the fact that the NFL is jealous of the international market reach of the NBA which is massive in places like china and the mlb which is huge in central america and japan. also fear losing a little bit of market share to soccer as the demographics of the US population changes. so they're trying to increase popularity in europe by hosting games here.

generally we get the "home" games of smaller market teams, like the jags who couldn't come close to selling out a game. i can't recall off the top of my head who the two other "home" teams are this year, but we won't see Dallas, NY Giants, Patriots, Bears etc giving up one of their home games. yes home fans are annoyed at losing games, but the NFL is sacrificing their interests for bigger gains.

one of the wembley games kicks off at 1.30 i think, can only imagine that is for the benefit of time zones further east as well.

Come on the Seahawks! Can't see us doing it two years in a row, but you never know! If Wilson ups his game even more, and we don't rely on the D quite so much, could be lethal.

Got so much more into this now that I play, even if I'm not that good, can't wait for the season to start! Monday mornings are spent being ridiculously tired though, which is annoying!

my worry for the seahawks is that they are in a brutally tough division with the 49ers and the cardinals and that they will end up losing home advantage to a team with a straightforward division and will have a tough NFC championship game (Green Bay maybe?)

my one prediction is that like last year, the NFC champion will dish out a seeing to in the SUperbowl to the AFC reps
