New season this weekend

Wins already for Eagles and the Chargers beating the Chiefs

There are currently 3 games live to watch with Channel 5 having live games now with is good

I have tickets to watch Broncos on 12th October

Magnificently unpredictable sport thanks to the salary cap, short careers and high injury rates, so let’s have a go and be spectacularly wrong.

Chiefs in gentle decline; despite Mahomes genius they are now mid-era and need to rebuild (same thing happened to Brady - people forget he went 10 yrs between Superbowls at one point despite the team always being playoff calibre). That’s KC decline - so still comfortably playoff standard.
Eagles won’t repeat; the chips had to fall just right for them.
Bills or Ravens look most likely.
Burrow and Bengals have sorted some issues and will be dangerous.
Would like to see Lions go all the way but they have lost some key coaching staff.

I think it’s hard to look past the Bills this year, genuinely think they currently have the best QB in the game .

Strong round of games for the opening weekend of the season. Unfortunately couldn’t get tickets this year, really enjoy going to the international games.

Some not so good ones as well. Might be the first time I've ever turned a season opener off before half time and switched to the Redzone channel.
I did stick it out until the end - we were unbelievably bad. Probably worse than the 2019 tank season - at least we had no expectations

Brave man, I was on the verge of throwing my remote through the TV so turned it onto Redzone to see what actual NFL teams looked like. Miami was easily the worst, most dysfunctional team I saw.

And on we go. We are awful. The fans are screaming for change, again. The bloke at the top gets another clown in to try and appease the fans and another two years of false hope is to be endured. Tua is shocking and need a kick in the bits to make him realise him and his attitude is the reason we are doomed to another long season of despair.

Don't strictly agree with you, as we & Tua certainly were vastly improved over the Colts game. However, after a good quarter & a half, the old issues resurfaced in the 4th quarter - play calls coming in late, resulting in delay of game penalties/needless TO usage and bad mental errors.
On the last 2 drives, Tua missed wide open throws and he seems to have regressed - are his injuries preventing him being able to do the physical things or is it mental in that he is worrying about getting hurt.
I do agree that change isn't always good, which we have gone through too many times over the last 20 years, which results in a system change & huge turnover as players don't fit the new system. If we are languishing at the trade deadline with only a couple of wins, firesale for draft picks for a new GM/coach

We finally got a win!! It was against the Jets, who are worse than us but a win is a win
Came at a bit of a cost, as Hill has likely played his last game for us but this could make McDaniel simplify the offense and go to a run first offense

Have the patriots turned the corner after beating the bills at their own ground.
They now have the easy run in of games in the whole NFL now . Could they make the playoffs and cause a massive upset .

Would still like to see Lions go all the way as I said at the start. If their defence isn’t shredded by injuries like last year then I think they will.
