Newcastle Curry Recommendations

Rooter - I never knew this place existed, thanks for the tip. It's hidden in a place you would not pass so it is definitely a word of mouth one.

I have never been, but my boss is part owner i believe, doesnt do any work there! but has financial interests in it! And obviously raves about it! Let me know if you go!

I'm a bit out of date now, married with two kids so Toon nightlife is a bit of a memory, but if you are thinking of the The Bacchus then near to that is The Old George which used to be a top pub. You don't mention the type of pub you want? A proper pub or a wine bar/lager place with women wearing their underwear and little else. Beer or Geordie Shore?

Ha! Just looking for somewhere decent that'll do me a spirit and coke for less than £3.50!

In that case you will need to avoid anything resembling a wine bar with associated semi naked ladies, tempting though they may be. Rounds are distinctly painful in anything that looks remotely trendy. The Bacchus, The Duke of Wellington, The Old George would be my trio. All relatively close to each other and are decent places.

If you want a decent boozer with good food, my boss owns this place https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Resta...ewcastle_upon_Tyne_Tyne_and_Wear_England.html and its in the top ten places to eat in Newcastle on Trip advisor at the minute.

Yes, very nice little "Bistro"........albeit in a poor part of town
Previously a bit of a rough pub, but with a growing rep on the food front now
A bit out the way, though just behind the Sandman hotel and a few minutes from St James Park

But.......it's not a Curry house
