Newbie saying hello from Leicester

The company was worth the visit, my golf not so. I think I managed 4 pars from 18 holes.
I was warned of the consequences of not passing the ladies tee on the first, and thankfully I got around intact.
Many thanks to all involved

I am surprised by the comment, I have not golfed in the UK for forty years, but over 'ere in Canada you'll get in trouble using the term "Ladies Tees", if you do it's at the risk of having a club hit you in the back of the head.
All Tees here, are now referred to by colour or Forward Tees and Back Tees, though the consequences of not hitting your Tee Shot past the Forward Tees, is I assume the same punishment. :D
Just my 2 cents worth from across the pond.

It's being talked about this side of the pond too and I think it's only a matter of time before it's adopted, but I expect it will be a while before it actually happens!
