Newark Golf Club - anyone played it?

Had a really good day at Newark and can highly recommend the course. A real variety of holes and challenges and was in excellent condition. Good practice facilities and an excellent clubhouse too - shame we don't live nearer.

We scored 42 points (23 front, 19 back) and disappointed to leave a few out there. One putt I hit was "in" then hit the back of the cup and popped out just as I was bending down to retrieve it from the hole!

We were unable to stay for the prizegiving as would be way too late home for Max so not sure if we'll feature but it won't be a winning score.

We'll try again next year :cheers:

Glad you enjoyed it Amanda and excellent scoring. I was a last minute replacement and also played today with teegirl off the forum, we ended up with 39 points and same as yourselves a lot of shots were left out there.
