What are you using now, and why does it not feel right for you?

Great start to your golf btw, that amount of natural talent is something most (myself included) can only dream of!

I am using an old ping, however it is quite damaged, and since i am re vamping my bag i thought i would go the whole hog and upgrade my putter too. Silly as it sounds, i am tempted to get another ping purely because the rest of my equipment is, but i guess i will just have to get down the pro shop and hit a few about. Putting is probably the weakest part of my game.

Congrats on the handicap. Although you claim to be new to the game I'm sure you've had some practice shooting (low scores)... I'll get my coat..

Seriously, I have the Ping Redwood and love it. They do some models which are cheaper but neraly as good in my opinion (the Karsten) which I think you can pick up for about £60. I would suggest, as other posters have stated, to try a few different putters, as it is such a personal thing.

Also just wondering, in the piece on the MOD website it says you were in AFGHAN this year having only been out of training for 3 months? that would have you at Lympstone in 2008?

Nope it has me in afghan in 2006 on herrick 5.. although i have been out a few times since then. read it again or look at the date. And bde is Brigade... as in im working at brigade... did you actually pass out of lympstone?
