New style Handicap card?

Our club recently had to send 3 club officials to a handicap seminar which I think was with congu, the following week we had to sign a form regarding getting some sort of card through the posts which have your handicap on them along with other congu details I'm lead to believe.

Has anyone else had to do the same and also have you had yours through yet, it's got to have been 6-8 weeks since we filled the forms in.

It's the EGU Handicap and Benefits Card and it has been around for quite a long time. On it is your lifetime CDH number which allows you, and any club at which you play in an Open, to ascertain your current handicap. Once you have registered and received your card, you are entered into a monthly free prize draw for lots of desirable goodies. Can't remember when I got mine but it was ages ago - only took a few days to arrive so I'm surprised at the delay for yours. You can also register online on the EGU website.

That's the one, maybe an email to our secretary to see when the forms went off could be a good idea
