Hello,

First post, so be nice...

I'm after a new Stand Bag that will also fit on my Cickgear for when I'm feeling lazy. Does anyone have any suggestions? I currently have a Nike bag, but the legs are knackered.

I quite like the look of the Sun Mountain 4.5 and 3.5, I know the earlier models didn't fit well on trolleys, does anyone have any experience of the 2011 or 2012 bags? Snainton have some good deals on the 2011 bags (but I prefer the 2012 colours...).

Cheers,

Tony

hello and welcome good to see you getting stuck in enjoy!

i would suggest you go for one of the hybrid bags if you planning to use on trolley and carry theres is are motocaddy sun mountain and ogio i think, there was a full thread last week if you want to search quickly for lots of views.

the main problem arises with pocket accesibility limitations with stand and tour bags on trolleys.

Thanks for the response. I must admin I haven't looked at the motocaddy bags. Just quite liked the look of the Sun Mountain 3.5 and 4.5 bags. Does anyone have any experience of these bags either on or off a trolley??

Cheers,

Tony

I have a Sun Mountain 3.5 that I carry, but never tried it on my trolley. I would expect it to be a little lightweight for trolley use. I also have an Ogio Grom which is a bit more robust (and heavy) but will fit onto a trolley and it also has an anti twist gadget that does what it says on the tin.

I have an Ogio Edge 2012 hybrid bag. And it is fantastic. I use it on a golf buggy as well. The quality is great, really well waterproofed, loads of pockets, woode design. This is my second ogio bag, and its the best.

Just a quick update.

I ordered a Sun Mountain 4.5 in Gunmetal / Red which arrived yesterday.

I haven't had it out on the course yet, but I have moved all my stuff to it from my old bag and it seems to fit my Clickgear really well.

Thanks for the advice.

Tony
