Near wetting myself with excitement. Got a new job permanent within the NHS but requires a car as it is community nursing. Sods law dictated that the car I was using died 3 days into the new job so my hand has been forced. Was hoping to get use of the old one till after May.

Had a look at the second hand market but with my mileage being so high I need something very reliable and fuel efficient and also provide some back up if things go wrong. So all things considered I have gone down the new car route. Just got the call that I have been accepted for credit so come Friday I should find myself on the road in a brand new Kia Rio. A simple motor but my first ever new car and I am so looking forward to getting it now!

A very nice car :) looked at them whilst I purchased my cee apostrophe d. Only problem is that servicing is expensive so if you can sign up to the pay monthly membership they have

Does it come with a flat cap and restricted to 40mph?

;) nice one chum hope it all goes well for you.

Thanks for the heads up. Yet to hear of a new car that isn't expensive to service though. Will definitely ask about this.

Kia warranty is 5 or 7 years these days? Great cars too recently.
You can service the car at any garage that can provide a vat receipt now too so dont be suckered into main dealer services.
