No taste. Any of you. These, with a nice pair of white trousers and a black shirt.

I like the look of the black ones as well.... £100 notes is steep! Would need to see them in the flesh first to see the quality....

Re: New Puma "Street" golf shoes - look way better than my regular fav Adidas...

i don't get your logic, you would willingly pay £300-£400 for a driver that you use 12-14 times a round at best but would cringe at spending £150 on a pair of ecco shoes that you will have to wear for 4-5 hours in all weathers strange.

It's called tongue in cheek Papyt. The spirit of the thread was kinda light hearted. Anyway, where did I say I would pay £300-400 for a driver? I play a MP630 that cost me £189...

You? White trousers? Black shirt? Icons? Hmmmm, not sure that's a good look. next you'll be telling me you play cobra irons......

all he needs is one of these to complete the pimp look

Definitely getting a pair of those Pumas

Will go nicely with my jeans and non-tucked in collarless golf shirt with a brand on the chest as long as it is not a football brand, my mobile phone GPS, my ankle socks, my electric trolley wheels that damage the fairways, my plastic tees that don't biodegrade, my golf balls that are too expensive for my slow swing speed, my extra stiff driver, my 6 wedges,

sorry if you assumed it was solely aimed at you it was a generalization.

Very nice shoes in my opinion!

Why do people say that they should be banned? As long as the sole is fit for purpose and doesn't damage the course.

It is a matter a taste and I wouldn't dream of wearing some of the two tone styles that are straight out of the 1920's. MAJ's shoes are hideous to me as are the "traditional" style FJs.

For me shoes should be close to the ground, comfortable straight out the box and appealing to my eye.

Too many need to get a life and enjoy the game rather than worrying if someone's made for golf shoes look "too casual" or have their shirt tucked in.

My old course would have an issue I suspect even if they are golf shoes. They would not allow the Nike/TW colllarless golf tops and suspect that they would be equally willing to ban this type of shoe.

So if Tiger turned up in his New Nike's and round neck top they wouldn't let him play?

So what's so wrong with not tucking your shirt in? Does it gain an advantage over your opponent?

I agree with Papyt on this one, when I see someone with their shirt flapping about at the bottom of their jersey it just reminds me of unruly school days. lol
Don't personally think it looks tidy at all.

In my opinion it is irrelevant. Doesn't put me off anymore than guys (and women) trying to cramm their fat guts and backsides into trousers two sizes too small. That combined with a tucked in shirt creates overhang and the belt buckle pointing South!

Far greater crimes on the course like slow play, club throwing, not replacing divotts, not repairing pitch marks, litter, not picking up broken tees etc etcetera

they all come under the category of etiquette and we should all strive to adhere to it, get your point about ill fitting clothes and being overweight our pro shop does pants up to 38 waist and if you want bigger he will order them in,i see a lot of 40+ waist oozing over the top of the 38,s muffin tops is the normal name i think lol.

Lol! If you're big, you're big but it must be so uncomfortable wearing ill fitting clothes.
