New PB... get in there

Enjoy MoG tomorrow - played there on a freebie through work and started on the 10th....a nice Par 3 160 yard carry over water , needless to say it was reload city.

Some tough driving holes from memory (the 12th springs to mind) so that 3 wood might be your savior.

Have a good day.

Well done, great score - especially when you consider you play those Nike clubs !!!

Look forward to seeing you shoot low first hand at Woburn.

if I am playing to 20 then I will happily have that for the day although I will get the club to print a h/c cert just to reinforce my legit/genuine/pucker/true h/c ;)

just back from Manor of Groves and I am a beaten man. 25 points, 6 blobs and swung like a true chopper of the highest order.

Off the tee was good but irons were shocking, wedges even worse and putting was iffy.

Cracking course though and just missed my par putt on the 600 yd 18th, did par the 10th tho which was a par 3 over water

also lost 3 balls :(

that is exactly what the issue was JO, no rhythm at all, swinging too quick and fatting or topping like a proper chomper.

My best shots were when I didnt think about it and just hit it. f'ing game does my head, 1 day elated the next deflated

The s&t vanished aswell as just couldnt get it going so was back to the old fade/slice nearly everything swing :)

That's a perfect example of high handicap golf. Been there and done it many times myself but at least you' be got that feeling that'll have you coming back for more.

Don't let today's poor performance knock you down though pal.

far from it, absolutely enjoyed the day as when I hit it well the golf was good, a few silly missed putts cost me a few times and the wedges just didnt happen from the off, dont think I hit one green from approaches. Just one of them days. Have to admit to feeling a bit stiff this morning as carried yesterday for 1st time in ages so probably didnt help

Manor of Groves is a cracking course btw, some tricky holes that you have to plot around despite being quite short in places, greens were immaculate aswell. £20 including a £5 voucher for in the bar/cafe afterwards was a welcome bonus

Next week you'll hit most greens.

Good to see you've still enjoyed it mate, keep up the hardwork.
