Well done mate always feels good when it all comes togethers for a full 18.
I shot a 85 today which is only the 2nd time I've broke 90.
Kinda similar to you, 3 GIR 6 FIR and 33 putts and the drives that missed the fairways were only just off and not in any real trouble.
I played my round with a bloke I'd never met before after I invited him to join me after 4 holes as we were being held up by the seniors infront. I found that cause I didn't know him I relaxed a lot more as I didn't want to start loosing my rag if I hit a duff shot.
Just a shame I'm at work now for the next 4 days as I'm gagging to get back out.

Nice one Bozza, my key was just swinging easier and not forcing anything, dont think I topped 1 shot all round and felt really confident over the ball.
Tomorrow may well be a kick in the nads from the golf gods but who cares

yeah off the whites, we dont have temp tee's or greens, greens were in better nick than summer! albeit softer and more responsive

Mine was on full greens but temp tees, which does shorten some holes and making them a bit easier but teeing off on a slope in a couple of inches of mud at times kinda evens it out in my eyes
haha.

yeah i know what you mean......my lowest ever score was an 88 on my course on full greens and many forward temps.....so although i was extremely pleased with it no way would i class it my PB..mines 93 at my course or 91 at another (lower par ) on proper tees/greens
