Welcome guys. i'm pretty new to this site as well but the banter and helpful hints are never ending, and i end up looking at the site far more than is good for me. as Homer has said its the best forum on the web.
Chippie, I have played Birchwood a number of times (many years ago) and always enjoyed the course. Everyone talks about, I think it is the 15th, the blind shot down the hill, but I used to like the 9th, down the hill and the 18th with the water near the green.

Yes your right about the 15th but like you i like the 9th & 18th. I wont play there at the weekend any more as they are getting to greedy and booking to many, had a few 5-6 hour rounds which is just not enjoyable they now only offer a 5 day membership, shame because it is a nice club
