New Layout & Logging-in Issues

I had a lot of trouble logging in to this new layout when returning home just. I clicked in the username box and it automatically placed my name in and then using the tab key it entered my password as it remembers it and then...nothing! kept stating that the page didn't exist and it didn't recognise me!

Anyway, for those reading this and having the same problem, type in your username and if it prompts your password, delete the "dots" and retype your password and your in!

Its obviously a glitch but one that can be got around quite easily.

I'm not sure about the new layout yet, not a fan of all the adverts down the side and not sure if they will also show to the side of our posts in topics/threads? [edit: yes they are now]

Change is always something that can take time to warm to.....

I do not mind change but feel ALL the adverts down the side make reading very difficult. The adverts take up about 1/3 of the space on my iPad and being a GM subscriber do NOT need to know all about the Mag. Overall very disappointed

I've had the same issue Logging On after running CCleaner a couple of occasions in the past. Same 'fix' (clearing and retyping the Password) worked though.

Maybe there's a 'Trouble-maker' flag! :rofl:

I actually went to one of my posts before being able to log-in to see if I had been blackballed, or worse! Talk about paranoid, don't know why I care though, what will be will be, I'm sure their all waiting for me to slip up again :smirk:

New format looks fine to me with on exception, the banner advert covers all the drop down menu options on things like Forum actions and Quick links. As I normally access the forum using the View new posts option, this is a big pain.

Agree with every word. Not a great step and is currently bad enough to look elsewhere. Please sort out tablet viewing urgently.

Use the 'mobile' version accessible from the drop down menu at the bottom left

I had the same trouble during the last upgrade but it was soon sorted.

Exactly the same problem with me - directed to v-bulletin where I have to enter details again. Pain, get it sorted GM.

Yea i had to do this to get in aswell, it was as you say the same the last change over ...

Just tried to update my signature, and it now won't let me put it on more than one line :/ Any ideas?

Edit: Have just tried deleting it all and starting again, and it won't let me put it on more than one line. This is annoying!

Edit 2: You have to include a < Br/ > tag with no spaces between each line, and be sure you've made all the changes you need to, as if you go back in, and try and edit again, you'll have to include every single space again!

I've also had log in issues on my laptop.

Also the new format looks "cheap" to me, i wouldn't mind all the adverts taking up a 1/3 of the page if the actual forum looked better but it's took a big step back in my eyes.

The mobile version on the iphone is a lot more stable in my experience though.

Also the current drop down Taylormade advert is a pain!

It's like a game to try click on something before the ad drops down and stops you from doing it!
