so my nike vr full cavities are now in the bag with their little nike golf headcovers on :o
(they do look bloody lovely I hasten to add, cheers Allylodge)

nice and pristine and I dont want to ruff them up. How bad is that!!!

No golf this weekend as my partners have let me down for tomorrow due to illness so just going to get pished and chill instead

Do any of you feel like that with brand new clubs or do you just get out there and give them a good thrashing ;)

Just don't leave then in a car pack, eh Hendo! Oh, wait that was your big bats!

Good luck with them man, they are really good looking clubs, and luckily they aren't easily damaged.
Hope you get on well with them:)

Mate, I hit some of these in AG the other day, if I had the money I would of had them. May try them again in Jan.
Good luck with them.

When I get a set of irons the lure is too great and I take them to a range for a get to know you session where I try and introduce ball and sweetspot to each other and hope it will be the start of a long and happy partnership. Sadly by the time I get to the course ball and sweetspot are usually at Relate and by the time I hit the medal the decree nisi has been signed sealed and delivered

haha. Nah I think having bought 2nd hand clubs for a bloody good price I didnt give a damn, Now I have invested a little more the tart/tight northern git has kicked in ;)

I went for Ping v Taylor Made partly coz the latter seemed more prone to scuff and show marks - I'd be permanently wiping and stressing about them ! It's a bit like having a new car - the first stone chip temporarily breaks your heart but then the fact it's no longer perfect is a stress-reliever !!
