new here and my iswing

You can see you're much more hunched over than the picture on the left and your hands are too close to your legs

I'll give that a crack tomorrow down the driving range, will get a video of it too.

All the help is most appreciated.

Thanks
Ian

I think you are standing too close to the ball. If you moved back a touch you would get a bit more weight on the balls of your feet and you would be able to improve your posture.

A great improvement Ian but I fear you've gone a bit the other way now.
Knees are bent too much, your weight in your heals and your back too stiff.
Look at the picture above. See how straight his legs are, not locked but not bendy like yours.
You should be relaxed at address as he is above.
Keep working at it

I will give it another try tomorrow, might use the mirror for a while there to check my posture. I noticed when i got home and looked at the video i am bending my legs too much :(. I find it helpful to have the video and can see what i am doing wrong easier.

Is my swing ok or do i need to work on that too?

Thanks
Ian

I think you should get the address position comfortable before you start with the swing.
It does have a few ..........issues but nothing that cant be fixed :)
Patience :)

A huge improvement Ian so I'm not surprised you're hitting it better :)
The swing isn't text book yet but it's better than some I've seen.
How good to you want to get?

Better flex in your knees at address but you need to keep them flexed, during the backswing your right leg straightens which is not good.

Test this at home in front of a mirror , first make a backswing deliberately straightening your right leg as you do so.

Then make another backswing this time keeping flex in your right leg. It should feel and look a lot better.
