anyone use the 'magic hose' type ?

Thinking of buying one to replace the rigid one currently leaking like a sieve.

On line reviews not great.

Any thing hozelock will be good we gave a small one that self retracts for over 10 years without any problems apart from small leaks that a new washer would sort out

Bit gimmicky, I look into it for a small garden but in the end bought a cheap hozelock set that’s still working 5 years later.

Franco is also looking for one so might be able to pass on some wisdom.

Got one of those Hozelock retractable ones, had it for nearly 20yrs now, attached to the wall outside, still working after the coldest winters and hottest summers, the only thing we have replaced is the gun attachment, which was our fault it broke as we left it out during the winter, not realising it was still full of water, it froze and split the gun.

We have the expandable hose which works well but the problem is that it needs a good pressure to keep it stretched otherwise it starts to shrink again. Good in some ways and easy to store but don't believe the lengths they promise.

I’ve heard that Chris had the same problem, but the doctor soon put him “right”
😂😂
