If you're in the market for a new freeview box, Tesco are selling a Dion digital recorder for just under £80.
It doesn't play dvds but does have a 250gb hard drive.
You can do all the pause live tv stuff and record one channel while you watch another.
Jan only bought it last night but impressed so far.

Has anyone else got one?

Dont buy Tescos Dion digital recorder.
It turned out to be rubbish
Tesco were very good. Full refund and no questions asked

Get yourself a Humax branded machine. They're pricier but are pretty much bulletproof and considered to be the best boxes on the market.

Just got Sky hd installed. No charge for the box, and free installation. Had to do it myself, and a piece of cake after 4 hours frustration and two phone calls to Sky.

Must admit the picture is fantastic, although everyone looks 10 years older as you can see all the wrinkles in greater detail. can't wait for the porn channels to be in hd

Free for the first 2 months and then £10 a month. Only have to commit to 1 year. As i needed a new sky box, as well as a new remote, it was a good to time to upgrade.

The saving on my subscription for 6 months (thanks Bob) will cover the extra cost in the first year.

I am in love with my new SkyHD box. Not got the HD package yet, but the free HD channels are marvellous. England vs. France in HD tonight!
