I don't know what the fuss is about. Buy a Scotland or Wales one they'll be much cheaper. For people who think that trainees are only a sporting item, they haven't a clue. They are "leisure wear". Probably the ones slagging trainees off have jeans and "sports jackets" on, jumpers tied over their shoulders or a nice socks and sandals combo.

Ah, another denizen of the the fair city offering fashion advise, today is indeed april fools.

Or the always classic red trousers and blazer combo.

Sure you don't.

As for what to wear with shorts, the appropriate sports related training shoe, or if on holiday I suggest a pair of havana style flipflops, will avoid your feet smelling like the mersey.

I'm pretty sure I don't wear track suits - but nothing like a bit of stereotyping there ;)

And trainers are a lot more than just sports related footwear with many styles also for the casual wear - drag yourself into the modern world

trainees are ..........are "leisure wear".

Lovely.

Do they actually sell anything other than trainers in Liverpool? Oops, silly me, of course they do! After all, most scousers need a nice shiny pair of black shoes for court appearances don't they! :)

Show me where I've slagged off trainers please.

I can show you where you have stereotyped people from Liverpool - imagine someone doing that towards someone from Scotland - would expect you wouldn't be far from the pedestal

So what should people over mid 30's wear for casual wear then ? Do you judge people on what they wear ?

The original jokes keep on coming

Any adult making a concious choice to wear a football strip in any other environment of actually playing football deserves to be ripped off.Grow up,& stop wearing trainers when not doing physical exercise too.
Here maybe?

Lovely.

Do you actually have any funny put downs, or just recycled ones. Very poor effort.

I must agree with the trainers post, but then again it depends what you are talking about. If you are talking about wearing blue denim with REEBOK Classics or NIKE AIR MAX style trainers then I would have to agree that they should be left for physical exercise. A nice pair of classic CONS or VANS, SAMBA or trainers of that style look good though.

Yes, I suggest early 30's.And unfortunately for you, tracksuits are also a no-no for adults.

Post 31 is a start

Really?A assumption that if you wear training shoes in everyday life also means you wear track suits is now a slander on the city of Liverpool?

Here maybe?

Are you two being serious? You interpret that as me slagging off trainers on the whole and not specifically when not doing some kind of sport?

You both need to calm down.

The arrogance of some posters on this thread knows no bounds as usual, highly judgemental and wrong if it doesnt agree with your own perspective of what is correct or stylish, not to mention some hideous stereotyping. Hey ho, I guess its fishing, or because of the date why not hide behind it being an april fool. Alternatively you could accept that different people have different perspectives and that yours isnt necessarily right for everyone
