I'm just pleased the red 'away' kit is visually indistinguishable from my 2008 shirt. Otherwise it's an appalling abuse of position for Nike to be pricing shirts as high as that.

I would say its slightly different

There is other choices of Golf Polo Shirt so you dont have to pay that sort of money for it

What other England Football shirts are there to choose from - there isnt - they dont have a choice - if kids want the England Top ( or in fact any football top ) their parents are pressured to fork out for it. Think clubs now release a new top every single year ( in fact it might be three a year ) - milking the gravy train.

The stupid overpriced 'match' shirt or the standard shirt which will retail at a similar price to all premier league shirts from the official source.

There will also be thousands of alternative kits, polos, tshirts coming out prior to the world cup which the kids will snap up.

Any parent who buys the match shirt (£90) because their kid tells them too gets all they deserve. IMO

As a parent of a child who constantly pesters for whatever they see on TV I agree there is pressure on you, but there is a choice and you just say no. Just say no, just say no, NO, just say no.

Plus you will be able to get knock off shirts for a lot less. Which should be fine for kids as they will grow out of the them quickly so you don't need them to last.

But the kids version is £42 not £90?

The £90 advanced cooling is specific for use in the humid jungle not in the pub at 11pm on a Saturday night. At £30 a wear (plane home after 3 games ....,.)
It is priced over the top but you don't HAVE to buy it free market economy. Same as most things.

Pretty much all game rugby shirts are this sort of price now as they are exactly the same as the ones worn by the team. The problem is that many clubs have stopped selling the cheaper replica ones.

i wear an old 1960's MANCHESTER CITY shirt ( £5 from a carboot) and tell everyone who asks it is retro,i have always been baffled by those that wear football/rugby shirts when no team is playing especially when they have dinner medals down the front or a massive fat belly sticking out from under them.

Me neither, it amuses me that anyone thinks a football shirt is a fashion item.

I think that instead of holiday brochures rating resorts/hotels using stars, they should give them a football shirt rating. Lots of football shirts on anyone over 14 will means it's chav central, none will mean it's a classy place. And you can chose your destination that way.
