my mate has got back into golf and wants to update all his clubs as thay are well aged and seen better days. As a junior he played off 17 but isnt anywhere near that standard at the moment mainly due to his touch and short game is poor but that will soon come back and driving scuffing sometimes.
He has a lovely looking swing and also hits a great long iron (something i wish i could do)
Saturday we are off to buy some new clubs for him and he asked me to take him to AG (i know you all hate it) His budget is up to £350. I suggested perhaps upgrading his woods or putter and not spending so much on irons but he said he will get them eventually as well.
What would people recomend? I would suggest him mine but he would prob benafit from something not so GI as he is fine at getting the ball up and away
