Jeez! The hairdressers are out in strength.

Sadly the hairdressers know a good car ... I hate to admit it but mine is a hairdressers car ( apparently) but you'll not find a better drive unless you pay twice the price.

The day I sold my RX8 and bought a Peugeot Diesel - knew my time driving sporty coupes was over

Child came along and beloved Rx8 went as well Phil, I did get a 5 series diesel though and is quick enough when the turbo kicks in.
I still miss the Rx8 and have to check all if them out when driving past me, you may understand this but I have never had a car like the 8 that just wants you to go faster, it just seemed to pull you along and the higher the revs the better it drives.
I don't miss the 16-18 mpg though

Triumph and racing green in the same sentence... I had a Dolomite Sprint for a wee while, back in the early 80's. It broke into a swift amble occasionally, but racing! No, not quite.
