Hi all

Just realised I really am now an old sod..... I'm 33, I work in finance, I play golf, I've got an 18 month old boy and am stuck in the daily grind.......so to top it off the missus and I have just bought this bad boy (needs must)

My car history hasn't been amazing....but here are a few of the ones that I've loved in years gone by:

Rover coupe 2 litre turbo
MG ZS (the 2.5 litre V6)
Mazda MX5

And now here I am about to start driving a bus.

When did you realise you were tipping over the edge?

when the influx of kids arrived, the likes of M3's, fast audi's, convertibles all stopped and i now drive a volvo.

Hmmmm I'm on my second, oh and even stooped to an automatic.

I'm sorry but that's unforgivable..... you cant drop it a gear and boot it with an auto! I'm not old enough to have an auto..... sheesh

It gets better Adam.I've done the nice cars, then MPVs and now back out the other side. I bought my wife an MX5 this month.

The bad news is, you've got 15-20 years to wait :rofl::rofl:

Not quite over the edge yet at 45, but then I've always driven diesels. I had a Red VW Mk3 TDi Estate, lowered 40mm, stainless straight through exhaust, Black Team Dynamics Pro racing alloys, bad boy bonnet and a PiperX Viper induction kit. It was very loud.

Now got a Mazda 3 2.2 Diesel 185bhp, nothing in comparison to what others on here drive or have driven, but it's by far the fatest car I've owned.

Never. Bought this beauty a few months back and love it...drove back from golf today with the wind in my hair

As long as I can get in and out without needing a hoist or falling onto the pavement I'm having an MX5!

37 and in denial (impreza), Funny thing is that for most of us, we cant afford a decent car unless either single or getting on well into the 30's as babies and court'in cost so much.

The only edge I get over is the edge of the rear tyre on the bike! :ears:
Turned 40 last summer and still love hooning about on the bike whether it's going to work or out for a Sunday thrash.
