Hello chaps,

I am new to golf (And the forum) and have recently been given an old PowaKaddy Freeway digital.

Could anyone recommend a suitable battery for it, I understand it’s an old trolley so I feel it wouldn’t warrant an expensive battery (£160+) as I would probably be better off replacing the trolley.

Are there any go to brands or ones to avoid, I am looking mostly for reliability and for 18hole charge.

How do you guys rate ‘The Golf Work Shop’ lithium batteries?

Any suggestions much appreciated!

Definitely Lithium for lightness, speed of charging and longevity.
I bought my lithium battery off ebay about 5 years ago and still going strong (fingers crossed, touching wood....).

Agree with the above.... I've bought a couple of batteries off these folk over the years and they have very reliable. Given the cost of trolleys these days, I'd be surprised if buying a new one makes more sense if your is ok!
