Hello all, I have an old ((20 years ish) Motocaddy S1 trolley that I would like to get up and running again now I am playing more golf. My query is, can I replace the 12v battery with a lithium equivalent and also has anybody had any experience replacing the potentiometer?

Any replies much appreciated 👍

I had one when they first came out. Any 12v battery would do, but I would question the financial sense in it.
The S1 back then wasnt the most reliable (mine needed a new axle, motor, battery all within 4 yrs of owning it), so Zi would suggest saving your money and put it towards a new one.

I'll price a 12v battery up and see if it makes sense. I'll also have a look at the wiring myself. If no joy then new trolley it is.
