My old powakaddy freeway is on its way out. It’s served me well, think it cost me about £50 second hand 10 years ago, so I can’t complain. I recently bought a lithium battery for it which is still going strong, it has the t bar connection.
Anyway, I’m on the lookout for a new electric trolley and have come across a decent looking powakaddy fw3, however, the battery on it is knackered. I know they’re very expensive to buy so I’m trying to work out whether my current lithium battery can be hooked up to it. The fw3 has what I think is called a torberry connector, and it looks as though you can buy a converter lead, t bar to torberry.
Anyone know much about this who can give some advice on whether this will work, and whether a normal squarish lithium battery will be ok and happily sit where the proper fw3 battery used to be?
Apologies for the long post, hope it makes sense!
