Powakaddy battery issue

Hi guys I got given a powakaddy fw2 and I have a powakaddy universal lithium battery, so when I connect battery the tbar feels loose and no power, I tried my friends battery and its a tight fit on tbar and trolley works. So would this be issue with tbar or battery connection being worn out? I did try my battery on friend trolley and the same loose no power.

Can you wedge something the conducts on the connector to make a tight fit to test it?

Does your battery work on his trolley?

So tried a washer either side and i get power to trolley but everything i click the speed option it flicks back to zero. My battery does not work on his the fit is too loose like on mine

The t bar connector on the battery should be a seperate and replaceable part.

I think its battery connectors as it doesnt work on my friends either.
Can a lithium battery that usually charges with a pin connection be charged by tbar charger
