Heavy putter for me in winter, currently liking a Ping with counterbalance in grip, the extra swing weight, especially on cold mornings. A lighter one in summer.

Also important to remember the things you can control, like set up and drills you are currently working with.

Don't make every putt when playing an experiment in the hope it'll get better.

Get these things sorted in practice; Ball position, grip, eyes over, rock shoulders, focus on the ball, don't look up too quick.
Work on the putter path.

Once you can replicate these things each time (and any others you want to choose) then you only need to focus on the green, slope, break, speed etc.when playing.

Hopefully breaking it down into some simple stages will help.

Best advice I ever had was "if it doesn't get there it'll never go in lad!" (good for all putts except when it leaves you a steep downhiller if you miss)
