That's the 1st round of the year in the books..
Very rusty front 9 but a 1 under back 9 gave me 36 points and a 77 total.
Can't be unhappy with that.
Very quiet..was only expecting to do 9 but got to the turn and there was nobody about...lovely

Well I played dreadfully, few pars and a single bird. The rest were mince
I blame the crick in my neck I picked up two nights ago making it painful to both twist right and look left but I still should've played better

Still, the weather was gorgeous mid 30's and the cider was flowing plus there was mince pies at halftime

At least the Worst round of the year is out the way early

Heavy snow here this morning, courses closed. But coming back through the kings noticed two guys playing, just coming down 17. They had been all the way round. Can't have been much fun the snow was very slushy. ??

Escaped lurgy house for 10 holes before dusk. Wasn't blowing as much as thought I might be and played pretty well - 7 GIR ?

First round done. Won the Sunday roll up and picked up a today £50. Played nicely even the short game and the new putter working like a dream
