Need your suggestions :)

We arrange an annual golf tournament the problem is we have had 3 teams pull out for economic reasons at the last moment. They are regular players and supporters of our charity, all connected with the construction industry. So we are left with a gap at short notice, the event is the 10th May. What is the right way and where do I go about posting details about this without upsetting anyone and not been seen as spam? The charity is purely staffed by volunteers, the office is a studio in the chair's garden so we have little or no overheads so all profits go to the chosen charity for that event. Suggestions and direction would be a great help.

I would email the golf clubs within 50 miles of the venue and ask them to put it on their members websites.
The other options is try to get it mentioned on the local radio morning/sports show and paper.
And finally.........ask the host club if they want to put in three teams at half price.
 
Thanks for that, as of now on the case re golf clubs. Have hit local papers....local radio stations, I will look at that. Have asked the host club, as yet no joy. Thank you Doon frae Troon :)
