Nedbank Golf Challenge

Do you hear that whooshing noise.

Do you hear that lonely little brain cell in your head telling you "this boy is right, you know"? It gets you all lined up to type, "yeah, you are right, I am being a complete tool, the top men are better golfers than the top women".

And then you get a rumbling from your arse telling you "no, wait, you have always listened to your arse in the past, that is why you are a complete loser, how is saying something as sensible as a man who can hit the ball 70 yards further than a woman and beat a woman by at least 8 shots every time on the same course going to make me look? People might think that I think that a womens job is in the kitchen, that they shouldn't have the vote and they shouldn't be allowed to drive."

Don't let your arse win out!!!

Has anyone ever suggested that the top men aren't better than the top women ?

Can you point out who has suggested that

Your complete refusal to answer my question even though I have asked you 4 times speaks volumes.

The question is irrelevant because no one has argued against your point about the abilities of the various sexes.

You are trying to use it to justify your sexist and ignorant view that men should get precedent over women on the telly.

That's what is may appear like to you, but I am actually trying to justify my observant and valid view that the best should get precedent over the inferior on the telly.

Telly is clever these days - there is more than one channel and both tournaments could be broadcast at the same time.

There is no justification for being an ignorant sexist.

Seeing as Sky decided not to put both tournaments on SS3 & SS4, instead they put the men on the red button, this is the whole crux of the argument.

It is unbelievable to me that you still cannot see that this isn't about gender, it's about standard of play. As I said before, if women played golf better than men, I would want to watch them instead of the men. If I was a woman, I would still rather watch the men, because they are better golfers.

What's wrong with the red button !! What has the red button ever done wrong.

I know pressing the red button is a lot of effort but if you practise you can get the whole action perfected.

It's like watching an accident, I can't look away...

Like I have said more than once, it's 1 weekend out of the year! Is it really that much of a big deal!?

I feel sorry for you that something so trivial gets your knickers in so much of a twist.

I have decided to end this argument now, I am fed up with you, your idiocy just proves that old adage that a fool cannot be held accountable for his words.

Yes you have proved that point very well

Congrats

No problem with you stating your view that you think the best should get precedent over the inferior. There is a subtle difference to saying this than men should always take precedence over women... That's the sexism bit.

In my mind it's chicken and egg with the women's game... I'd be interested to see how viewing figures compared, they need more coverage to grow the game in order to get more coverage. In my mind the LET should get a fair crack but sky has to look at viewing figures and advertising revenues and the LET have a hard job on their hands to compete with the men for air-time.

Currently the the top men are better than the top women, but I'd rather watch the Solheim cup than some low grade European Tour tournament like the Lyoness Open, powered by Greeinfinity!

The only problem with putting the men on the red button imho is that you can't get it on SkyGo. I watch a lot of golf on SkyGo when I'm on the road. Now I can't say for certain but I suspect the viewing figures for the Nedbank will be higher than the LET so why put the Nedbank on where not as many people can access it?

Please don't take this as endorsing anything that Earcat has so eloquently put in earlier posts.

I feel like I am being misunderstood here. I have no problem with the LPGA being on tv, I understand that the ladies play the game to an incredibly high standard. However, I have a problem with the men, who play the game to an even higher standard, playing second fiddle to the women. I am not a sexist, a racist, sectarian or have any other prejudices, but I am a realist.

See, I don't see this as sexism, I see this as knowledge that the women's game is not, nor will it ever be, as strong as the men's game. I think it is sexist to say that women's golf should never get on tv, which I do not believe to be the case.

Out drive, yes, outplay, definitely not. You are an absolute moron for bringing the fact that I am an inferior golfer compared to the best female golfers in the world, I said that the BEST male golfers are better golfers than the BEST female golfers, which even a moron like yourself must appreciate. The women are more accurate for the same reason that men are more accurate with wedges than 7 irons, they are hitting drivers 60-100 yards less than men. Do you really watch female golf to get wood, if so then the internet will blow your absolute brains out.
No moron but you bite like a hungy bream, just make yourself look even more of a biggot. Nothing like moving with the times hahaha
