National Club Golfer

Anyone regularly read National Club Golfer?

I visit their website most months to enter their comps (no success yet) but i'm also thinking about subscribing. Is it worth subscribing?

It's £25 for the year with 2 sleeves of AD333s thrown in.

I think its a very good read however I wouldnt pay for it as you can pick it up for nowt at your own club. There is always loads of copies lying about for the members at my place and across the water at Rothesay.

A good read when on nights and as thecraw said you can pick them up at your club for nowt.

Should be a copy on the window ledge in Trap 2, there is at most clubs!!

Great read for free, as good as anything out there. especially the back page diary of a NCG usually funny.

I'm not sure my club has it. I have to say I'm not overly interested in amatuer events, local pro circuits or inter-club matches much to my chagrin. Its not that I don't respect the feats etc but find the writing is usually duller than other mags and that any equipment reviews or instruction is fairly basic. Like I say not sure I've read it in a years (the club does get a couple but tbh couldn't tell you the name - Fairway to Green I think)

Its a good read. There is always a big pile of them in the locker room at our place that you can help youself from.
