After a fitting with both the AP2 12's and the Wilson staff v2 4-6 fg62's 7-pw I just can't decide.

Hit both very well, like the look of both and price isn't an issue......what the forums thoughts.

Confused.com. (again)

Im loving the V2 FG tours above everything else thats out there right now. Great value and lots of demo days and fitting options. Check out clubhousegolf and the wilson staff twitter feed.

Well i have the Original FG Tours and i love em....Just enough help when you need it but nice and classical looking....

Id go with the Wilsons if you plan on keeping the indefinitely.....
If not then your resale value on the Titty's would be a bit higher im sure.....
Brands mean nothing to me im afraid.

Yeah I really don't care about the sell on values, just interested in really getting my game lifted off.

I'm one of these weirdos that loves everything the same make though, I'll end up with everything Wilson or titleist lol.

How did you find the old fg tours kid2?

Still use them Largs.....In my Sig.
To be honest they are sweet...Nice when middled and not too harsh when not....
Mine will cut through any lie....Out of the rough they are great...Nice and heavy.
My Pal that i play with every weekend uses Mizzy MP32's...He plays off of 1 and he's hit mine a good few times....He said that they are a great club and he loves the fact that there is very little offset on them too.....Nice clean lines.

One thing i was told to watch but that doesnt seem to effect me is that their leading edge is a little on the sharp side so if you like to take a generous divot (Like me) they can be an issue in soft conditions....But iv yet to find this..

Iv seen the V2's and i think if im right that the heads on the V 2's are a little bigger than my FG's and i think that there is a little more offset in the V 2 model long irons....

Stand to be corrected though..
Also if your into a hole bag of Wilsons it'll be a hell of a lot cheaper than the comparative Titleist makeup.

The Wilson woods and hybrids are very good too....HTH.

I also play the FG Tours.
A great, great iron! As has been said, super when you middle them, super when you don't!
The edges are sharp which mean big divots if you hit down on the ball like me but you get used to that.
A lovely feel off the face and a lovely weighted club.

For the money, I doubt you'll find better.

I hit the original fg tours,ap2's and the v2's. The v2's came out miles better than the others. They are a little more refined than the fg toursand were brought out alongside, rather than to replace them. There's quite a difference between them and the v2 is less forgiving, and more blade like.

I liked the ap2 but the v2 had a much softer feel for me.

Have you tried the TaylorMade TP MB's? Even the MC's are nice. Would suggest you try them, may put a spanner in your works.

Jeeze thanks andy lol, ive been fitted really well for the Wilson staff so think I'll plump for them. When I compare prices, grouping stats etc they are the right choice.

Sorry seen your fitting post after this one lol

Hope the new bats work well.

Which others did you try. I saved a fortune by finding a set of Nike vr split cavity to my exact spec.

I had tried the fg tours and tities and preferred the fg's so as long as there wasn't too much of a price difference I'd go for them
