Just got in from a fantastic day with the forum boys. Absolutly cracking day and as ever, the company was superb. Weather was so good to us and it helps to enjoy it when you play well.

Big thanks to Dave & Keef for the organising, thanks to Graham and Glenn for the game, and too everyone else for turning up.

N.E won by 5 points to 2 (recount! recount!) so well done to them. The tropheys dished out where fantastic and mine for individual stableford is excellent.

Sure the pics will be up soon enough!

Think it is time for seperate handicaps for GM meets :D no seriously well played Tony, was a cracking day albeit because the NE won (cost century g5 a couple of pints :D) cant wait for the next meet ;)

Bloody Humbug,I'm on a diet of HUMBLE pie all week,"the game is not straight" played against 2 of the biggest "outlaws" this side of Darrington !!!!!! :D :D thanks Evita, even tho we were sh*** :D :D

oh dear was that reply mono esque :o

I'll ignore the mono quote!! Sound like you guys had a great day. I hope there are lots of pictures that you will be sending into Mike Harris as I think he requested so he can post them on the web.

What I'd really like from anyone that played is a 300 word write up on the day as a whole and a full breakdown of the prize winners sent either as an e-mail or word attachment to golfmonthlyforum@yahoo.co.uk by Thursday evening so I can give the day the full write up the hard work Keef and others put in deserves.

I'd like as much info as poss to make the article as good to read as I can. Many thanks in advance for all your co-operation

Bill I seen Craigs Bro stiff that one to the pin, did you not hear it hit the flag? it was going past by 30 yards :D

Absolutely top drawer day and a resounding success, I think everyone (bar Toonarmy ) had a cracking day and a big well done to TonyN on his individual win.

To be fair to you fella, me & Dave said that someone would come in with 46 points plus so its not that bad.

The course was in superb condition and the facilities top notch, all that remains is for someone for each group to do their own little write up!

I've got a stack of pics that i'll host in an album on photobucket soon (maybe tonight if the wife watches another big brother!!) but my apologies to those who tee'd off after me as I didnt get any of you lot!

Well done to Team NE too....a resounding hammering is what i'd like to call it :D

Also a big thanks to Century for a good laugh on the way round, it was a pleasure beating, I mean, playing with ya fella ;)

Full honours list:

Team NE 5 pts - 2 pts Team NW

Individual Stableford:
1st - TonyN 43pts
2nd - KeefG 41 pts

Nearest Pins:
5th - Grumpyjock
16th - Tincup's brother Andy
18th - Duncan

Longest drive:

And a final well done & cheers fella to Vig for all the sleepless nights he's had putting it all together!!

I'll do one tomorrow when i get into the office Homer, you might need write ups from the individual teams as all I know is the actual team results (won or lost).

I would just like to echo the comments of previous posters and say what a cracking day out it has been. Great to meet everyone there, the course was testing for those of us who had never played it before and in excellent condition (man some of those greens are tough!) and the weather was almost too good!

Well done Dave and Keef for putting on such an enjoyable event and thanks for all the doubtless hard work and effort you guys have put in.

Cheers, Phil

I'm just kidding Craig, it pitched on the front, took two bounces and stopped dead! At one point I thought it was in!
