Muslims only?

If this story IS true then I find it a little concerning. There are 2 ways of looking at it. One is that people were advised there is a big religious festival on so they may not wish to enter but can if they want to. Fair enough. The other is there is a 'Muslim only' festival and you CANNOT come in to a public area. If that is the case, would Birmingham council or whoever sanctioned the event allow a 'white Anglo Saxon protestant only' festival to take place?

Not sure how both the twitter and outside got same idea. Unless they heard something from somewhere. Not all accusations of Muslims receiving beneficial treatment are false, just as not all accusations of favouritism or racsim are true false. It just appears to me, that when stories of preferential treatment being given the Muslims appear a lot more defended.

what evidence ? It is still the social media talk as yet - nothing concrete which is not surprising considering the paper

People are saying they got turned away from Vue but wasnt it supposed to be star City they got turned away from ? And havent Vue said they didnt turn anyone away - you only have to read the Facebook page to see the glaring inconsistencies from them all.

Yes yes yes, we know, all Muslims are out to bring down the west and will not be happy until Sharia law is imposed in the UK.

Do we know if any other venues turned people away? Seems to be an issue with the Cinema to me. Unless there are complaints against the other venues?

Nope.. I'd just like to see what would happen if we banned all Muslims from lets say the Bull Ring on Christmas Eve.

The cinema seems to be the main place of concern but people where getting turned away in there cars so the whole venue seems to be the problem. The cinema seem to be angry at the fact this was happening so I don't think it was there idea.

I don't think anybody has complained about the Muslims here. Nobody has said there is anything wrong with them celebrating. More that others may have been discriminated against.

I find this post offensive , how can a muslim born here go back to where they come from , not everyone is from overseas
 
I'm confused, are we talking about a racial incident here or are we talking about a sectarian incident ? Some people seem to be unable to differentiate between the two.

I believe the actual details are very sketchy

At first it appears that a traffic warden stopped non muslims going into star City because they were celebrating the end of Ramadam

Star City deny the claim - someone on Twitter from VUE said it wasnt them

Now it appears it was VUE who were stopping people ?!?!

But it appears to be all stemed from social media !
