I wasted 3 hours of my life watching him play Nalbandian at Wimbledon. He quit. You could just see it happening. Once a quitter, always a quitter.
It doesnt go away, no matter what you win afterwards.

Do you mean when he was 18 and lost in 5 sets after suffering from cramp and having fatigue not being used to such a level of tennis ?! And you think he quit - complete nonsense and that’s being polite.

And it was that match that forced him to think about his conditioning and made him the utter specimen he is today.

The guy is a beast and he has worked so hard from the point he realised he needed to be quite a bit fitter.

Some people just talk absolute garbage.

Puzzling though, that Stan the Man who couldn't get near Murray last week played a stormer yesterday blowing away Dimitrov...
 
After watching the Fed vs Anderson match and thought that was a good game and the come back of andersons.

Then watched the Del Potro vs Nadal yesterday, what a game.

Nadal drives me nuts with his grunting and habits, was hoping Del was going to win.:p

Weirdly Andy Murray was in the commentary box and thought some of his insights were interesting, would imagine in time he will make a great commenter.
 
Right now there are two absolute giants playing against each other. These lads should be playing basketball not tennis! I thought there was something wrong with the TV and the picture had been stretched.
 
Serena, Baybee, C-section,Comeback, Tracey Austin and the umpire in Barry White "lurve" mode and almost incidentally in a midges over the hour, Kerber wins. Equal prize money?

i think they should readjust all comps to make it an hourly rate for each stage. You then get paid out at the end.

So in theory a quater finalist may play more hours than a winner, but due to a higher rate, the winner would likely earn more anyways.

The fact that the mens game subsidises the women’s is poor imo, but at least do so in a remotely fair manor.
 
I think price money should be awarded by the interest generated. And tennis is one sport where women and mens competition are on a fairly even level in public interest. They generate the money, they should have it. No idea why they let the men play extra.

I think you'll find if they major prize money was done by interest the women would be on significantly less. There is a reason mens tennis is on sky and the womens is on bt.......

Even level of interest. Not even close. You have to admire the women's union, what a job they've done.

Following on from two top Gentlemen's semi's there was always a danger the Ladies final would be underwhelming...
But 65mins, of play, was even worse than I'd thought it could be...

Kevin Anderson, it could be said, has over-achieved in reaching the final...
And, I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to complete the deal...
