John Daly, the well known athlete. Any sport where you can smoke while playing it isn't a sport.

Most of the athletic golfers are athletic through non golf related exercise. The rest? Monty, etc, fat and unfit.

All dogs have a tail, but anything with a tail is not a dog.

Golfers are not athletes.

Funny that, I knew a keeper who had a quick smoke during a game. I think Gary Player would argue the athlete thing.

As I said though, some golfers are, most aren't. Some are athletes who play golf. Most are golfers. Fat unfit golfers.

Strangely you never see mid field players smoking while playing. May be goal keepers aren't athletes either. Fatty Faulkes certainly wasn't.
