Most Rewarding

Nailing a GIR with an iron shot to set up a realistic birdie opportunity as it's such a rare occurence at the moment. That said any chip that threatens the hole and either drops or leaves a tap in is almost as satisfying.

Would have to say the long putt, u get down, u read the break, u set up, u back off and check the break again, u set back up, mis-read it, pull the hell out of it and in she pops. :)

Hitting a beautiful, raking draw with a four iron from about 210 yards out, watching it hit the front of the green, check up and then release and then slowly roll up to gimme distance from the hole.

I've never done it.

But it's what MX200's were made for

:D

A pint of johns in the clubhouse after the game.

for me its got to be knocking it stiff with a wedge, just needs to happen a bit more often!

Taking the perfect ball/divot combination with a wedge and watching the ball stop stone dead pin high for a birdie putt.

Hitting a raking 3 wood second into a par 5,and knowing your par is secured.

LOL, I can relate to that!

I can't actually think what the most rewarding thing is for me - frankly I'm surprised I still play the game!

So maybe just being there and not at work

I would have to echo that but at the moment any really good shot is a great feeling ;)

Hitting a par 3 stone dead,no need for putter,lovely

I agree, I like this one. I did it on the 18th at leasowe to get me from 5 over down to 4 for the round. It was rather nice!

Murph,

Hywel is making that particular shot an art form. I think for me it has to be a decent drive about 250 but straight and then following it with a decent iron into the heart of the green and a 1 putt birdie. The perfect hole. I do love chip ins but with my ropey short game they come along as often as a buyer for Smiffy's mizzys

175yds out, right side of fairway, but slightly blocked out by the trees lining the hole.
Select a 5iron, and set up for a fade, left foot back a little, the un-natural shot, that you can do, but need to work at.

And then swing it, watching the ball start left, and gently arc right to pitch on and roll up to 5', setting up the Birdie.

Now that is satisfying.

So, its a good shot to the green for me.
