Morning folks...

I have been trying to fix up a game all week but to no avail...
Should be my day off work today but it looks like I'm going in.
I could take my stuff in and nip off early to play 18 around the course on my own, but it doesn't really appeal to be honest.
Playing at Bearwood Lakes again on Sunday so might save my energies for that
;)

Sorry already playing , plus I am miles away. I am off to our County Championship today. Practice round followed by 36 holes on Friday. Matchplay starts on Saturday. The weather is extremely dodgy down here, rain on the way.

Do I really want to put myself through this!

There are six of us staying away so at least we can have a bit of a jolly if the golf is no good. :)

Sounds like you are going to have the best of the weather today, hope you find a game .

Nah, I wont be out playing today, today I plan on actually doing some work seeing as thats what i'm paid to do.

Although i'l probably spend all day on here sulking because i'm not out playing! lol

I hope to be out tomorrow afternoon though at Billingham.

I am trapped in an office in town waiting for the wifes new irons to arrive and the only time I can play is at the weekend and it looks horrid weather as well :(

Someone hold me :o

Lovely weather for a round, up here it is anyway, hardly a breath of wind and very calm, soft conditions.

Anyone out playing today?

Goddamit I want to be out playing today :(

I think i'll head over your way.
It's chucking it down here and i'm only 12 miles away. :(

Morning all, I'm in work today til aboiut 4, so if the weaather behaves I'll be able to grab a round in this evening. What's confusing me is the BBC forecast, it says light showers til 1pm, then cloudy til 4pm, then heavy rain for the rest of the day.

It's bright and sunny at the moment

Smiffy...you playing a comp over at Bearwood Lakes ?

Not a comp mate, just a rematch with two members who my mate and I beat a few weeks ago.
I've also been invited to a big charity day there on Sat 30th. I can't wait.
It's one of the best courses I've ever played. A good two hour trip from here, but I'll be doing it with a big grin on my face.
I repeat what I said a few weeks ago....if you haven't played it, get along there as quick as you can.
It's a "must play" in my opinion

Parmo, is she getting a bog standard iron or one of those cordless steam ones?

:D

Took today and tomorrow off as weather is supposed to turn nasty at the weekend.

Got up early and played 27 holes this morning sun is out but very windy, I'm hitting the ball well just now but can't seem to post a good score, bloody thing won't drop in the hole.
:D

lol :D

Got her 6-SW BenRoss VeloCT graphite irons, only cost new £99 on Fleabay and are retailing for £200-240!! Now got to get her a matching couple of hybrids and a driver and then there is the bag :( All I want is the S9-1 driver & Fairway :p

Might go to the range later. Got a medal on Sunday in what look like monsoon conditions forecast - mmm nice and trying to arrange my summer knockout for Saturday in only marginally better weather.

I went out this aft, after the rain had stopped. Wish i'd stayed a home.
Tap in birdie on the first hole then...... utter garbage, pull hooked tee shot on second into the trees, no back swing as it was against the trunk so had to go backwards, then it went downhill fast. Only positives were the first hole and two drives that I creamed.

Played like a nurse. Pauline nurse......

Also lost two balls   . I hardly ever lose a ball on my own track.

Anybody want any clubs?
