Monty - Senior PGA

Could it not just be called the Hasbeens Cup? You cannot compare its prestige/quality of field to the larger regular tour events on both sides of the water. To me the senior tour is is a rung down from the regular tour, I would be interested to see what they would have scored given the same playing conditions, Id wager a penny that Monty wouldn't have made top ten.

It was very valid indeed. But blatantly used when it was compared to a real major. Anyway as I said. Good afternoon. Enjoy the last word that I'm sure you'll have.

The reason I mentioned the top 50 seniors being involved is because they are now Monty's contemporaries, not Rory, Tiger, Adam and the rest of the top 50 in the world.

For various reasons (age, fitness, practice & playing time) once players reach 50 they find it difficult to compete at the top level, so a new, level playing field is made and they compete against similarly able players.
