Not at all. I'd be delighted for him to win a major for this part of his career. But hopefully he doesn't go deluding himself it's the same as the big four real ones if that makes sense.

He's really a very nice guy - apart from during/immediately after a tournament round and when upping 'my team'!
Slightly too intense for me with TV punditry - SNF was too, but has mellowed into well imo.

cant stand to watch him play,he must be the most miserable faced man in the world no wonder the yanks hated him,how many people has he had thrown out of a gallery when a fly farted and he hit a duff shot only to blame someone else,dont like him as a pundit and his commentary is dire,apart from that he is just a pain.

Agree, I'd like to see the big fella win it too, it's not a real major but it is a senior major. Although knowing Monty he will probably implode on the back 9! I hope not though.

Would be great to see Monty win, particularly on US soil. Whether it is really a true major or not is another topic. In my mind it isn't but it is still a mighty fine effort should he do it
