Okay, after a month's break it's poll time again and this month, with the main UK golfing season winding down, I thought we'd go for two polls looking at how well you've got on in a couple of areas of the game this year...

First up, it's accuracy and an honest appraisal of your greens in regulation stats for the year

Id say about 4-6 on average for the season. I have been sneaking into the top end of that bracket as a minimum towards the back end of the season though.

The anorak in my keeps this stat (when I keep a card) and it's averaging 7 (36%) this year! Best was 11 and worst was 4. 2010 was 16% and 2011 34% so still improving

Another stato here i have just checked my stat pack an average of 40% meaning I'm hitting just over 7 greens per round.
Not good enough as I can't chip to save my life at the moment.

Have been between 8-12 pretty consistently this year. Reason for the lack of handicap droppage is the 8 holes I haven't hit in reg have probably been doubles. Not bad at getting up and down but it's hard to get too many GIR's if you're consistently playing three off the tee ...

My ball striking (cows backside and a banjo spring to mind) has gone downhill this year, resulting in some pretty poor GIR stats. That is until my last outing out when I hit more greens than the rest of the year put together!

I'm a very poor 6 greens on average............. which for a 6 handicapper is plain awful. Thank God for a great short game.

I went 0-3, have had 10 in a round before but also had 0

about to embark on a winter of swing overhaul especially looking to improve on 180 and in shots (alignment more than anything that costs me)
