I've gone down 3 and up 1 so far this year for a net -2 from 21 to 19 so far this year.
No plans or hopes for the rest of the year just enjoying playing golf and letting the handicap worry about itself.

9.4 to 8.8. Ok and fine, but not really making a difference. I'm playing way better than that, but a total lack of comps at this time of year is not helping.

11.3 to 11.9, playing much worse than that in competitions, can't string five holes together let alone 18.
Scored 95 gross on Sunday with a 12 (twelve) on the 7th.

The annoying thing is I scored one over gross 37 in a friendly 9 hole comp two days before, double bogey start then 7 pars and a birdie to fnish.

I've only managed a few qualifiers, so it's probably artificially low, but I've been cut 0.3 down to 4.7 so far this season.

Only played in six comps this year gone up .3 but been in buffer zone 3 times think a big cut is just around the corner.

First handicap, gone up 0.3 in first 3 comps!!

It would be interesting if there was a linked poll, showing the link between movement in handicap, and number of lessons taken....

I went up 1, but after the weekend just gone, I am down 2 to 9!

I am having a good season now. I crept up to 18.9 at one stage but now down to my lowest ever handicap of 17.2 and feel that I am playing well enough to go lower.

Biggest help for me has been one short game lesson. I was losing shots every round through fat shots and thins around the green. An hour with Bob and I am so much better. OK, more practice needed to get up and down more often but I am at least giving myself a chance now.

Edit - a wee cut due after today as shot 3 under despite feeling jaded after the amount of competitive golf I've played lately :-)

I'll be getting a whopping 3.6 cut after a Nett 62 this morning

That'll make me 4.1 less now so far since April
