Mmmmmmmm! What to do???

Errr were you not aware of the H4H unwritten rule???
The handicap you win the competition with is your handicap for the 12 months you hold the trophy.
Sorry Chris

So that's why you didn't bother to win it, I knew you were holding back for some reason! :D

Do it, Smiffy! You love the course, you play well round there (and only there, mind!) and you can sign me in to play with you for buttons! ;)

Stop dithering and DO IT!

Go for it Rob. You love the course, even been known to play well round it, and five minutes from home. Surprised there are no discounts for Centenary Champions.;)

I assume you can sign in guests.:)

Didn't think you would ever echo my words.;)

I assume if you join Rob, we can play in the 4 ball comps again ?

Have completed the entry form, just need to get my proposer and seconder sorted out.
I'm in no mad rush as this isn't a "limited" offer and as the membership runs for one year from your actual joining date I am not losing out at all by waiting a while.
Also, having just paid out for my French fishing trip, money is a bit tight at the moment so although the Missus has given me the green light I think it would be a bit foolish to leave us short to pay for what is, for me, just a "hobby".
I can wait.
But it's looking 99.9% sure that I will do it.
;)

£35 a round sounds a tad expensive to me.

OK my track isnt as good as Cooden and its a completely different part of the country but with the Crown Golf points scheme the more you buy the less you pay per round. For £500 the cost of 18 holes comes down at peak time to less than £15.

£35 a round sounds a tad expensive to me.

It actually equates to £30.00 a round when you look at it because £75.00 of your £495.00 membership is an administration charge with the other £420.00 giving you 420 credits.
Additional credits (up to a maximum of 200) can be purchased on a pro-rata basis of one £ per credit.
So it's 30 credits a round (or £30.00) at the busiest times, 22 credits (or £22.00 if you like) for a knock on a week-day after 1pm.
For a track with Coodens credentials, I reckon that is brilliant value for money
;)

Ultimately it only matters that you are happy with the deal, the course, and the 50 forum members who now expect an invite!

Do not use the word "knob" at any time during your chat!!

Love Cooden - looking forward to my invite down as one of your guests when you're in!
