Well I was only going down there this morning to pay the deposit for the meet but I might as well take my membership application down with me too!

the deal is similar to what i am on Smiffy, works very well for me as i cant justify the £1200 a year to play about 20 times, however £500 and it adds up!

I can indeed mate. Up to 3 at any one time. At normal "members guests rate" which currently stands at £21.00 midweek or £26.00 weekends.

Had a word with the Secretary, he said "don't worry Rob, the committee have the authority to sanction membership so if you can't find a proposer it will be ok".

The course looked gorgeous yesterday. Nice stripey fairways, greens "looked" superb, beautiful sunny day with hardly any wind at all. All in all a perfect day for a knock. Shame I didn't have my clubs with me. Hope it's like that for the forum meet next month.
