Just to make my 3000th post a little fun, my other half told me a story today about a friend she works with. This friend, her boyfriends brother is a choreographer and is doing something for the BBC, no idea what, anyway she puts a post up on facebook about this. Later on she decides to search for what it is the dancer is doing, so she googles BBC and got one hell of a surprise.

Back in the day it was also fun to tell someone you were into water skiing and get them to do a search for water sports, that would raise a chuckle or two when the search results came back.

Any others you have innocently search for and got a different reply back?

Remember one of the guys was told to search for blue waffle telling him it was food ( warning - the search will burn your eyes )

The images it appears scarred him for life :D

Mother in law was doing the springwatch bird survey and searched Google images to check the plumage on a particular feathered friend.

I've got a bad back and recently did a month's work in an office in Scotland. My back was playing up so thought I'd go and see someone to ease the pain. Some of the services offered if you Google " Aberdeen massage" certainly wouldn't have fixed my back but would certainly have taken my mind off it for an hour or two.

A colleague at work has rather unusual taste in music. One band (butthole surfers) is a group I wouldn't wanna use google for.

Many years ago when I first got my parents online I was telling my dad about the wonders of the internet and how he could find just about anything he was interested in just by doing a google search. To try it out he suggested we see what it had on his football team..... Queen of the South..... :o

Friends mum asked if I knew anywhere she could pick up a cheap car, told her I knew a car auction place called Black bush , told her to search on line for it ! ( forgot to tell her its spelt Blackbushe ) got a funny look next time I popped round.
